The Traxxas TQi radio system can be equipped with the Traxxas Link Wireless Module to unlock exciting features such as instant Bluetooth^® connectivity; access to the full range of powerful TQi tuning and telemetry tools through an intuitive high-definition graphical interface; and the ability to have a friend remotely monitor real-time telemetry while you focus on mashing the throttle. Your co-driver can even make adjustments for you, remotely, while you drive. Just like the speed and performance Traxxas engineers into vehicles, the power and capability of TQi and Traxxas Link expands your fun into all-new territory. Device requirements are listed below.

What can you do with the Traxxas Link App?

1. Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth to your Traxxas TQi transmitter
Next generation TQi radio systems connect wirelessly to your device for easy handheld access to all your radio system’s features. This eliminates the need for traditional button menus.

2. Change the settings on your radio system
The TQi radio system is the most advanced Ready-To-Race^® radio system available and is equipped with a wide range of adjustment and tuning features. The Traxxas Link app provides an intuitive, high-definition graphical user interface to make and save your custom settings in just seconds. Reverse a servo direction, set servo end points, or fine tune the steering rate or braking percentage with just a few taps of the screen.

3. Program the Multi-Function knob on your transmitter
The TQi’s Multi-Function knob can be programmed to perform a variety of different functions, such as fine tuning your steering or throttle sensitivity on the fly.

4. Store, view, and manage settings for all your Traxxas vehicles
Your custom settings are recalled automatically for up to 30 models when you power on the vehicle and transmitter. There’s no need to fumble with crude interfaces that require you to find and select which vehicle you want to run.

5. View Real-Time telemetry with beautiful high-definition graphics
Telemetry is relayed wirelessly to your device so that while you focus on driving, a friend can keep you updated on speed, temperatures, and battery voltage, all live and in real time. Tuning adjustments can even be made while driving. Driving solo? No worries… Traxxas Link records the telemetry data for playback later.

6. View accurate speed data
Install the optional GPS Speed module into the telemetry expander (sold separately) and the Traxxas Link app automatically recognizes the GPS data and delivers incredibly accurate speed results that are unaffected by factors such as gear ratio and tire spin.

7. Turn Training Mode on and off in seconds
If you’re handing your transmitter off to someone who hasn’t driven before, select Training Mode to cut the power and speed in half until the new driver is familiar with the control. Only Traxxas has it!

Install Traxxas Link telemetry sensors on the model, and Traxxas Link displays real-time data such as speed, RPM, temperature, and battery voltage with stunning graphics. Traxxas builds the world’s fastest Ready-To-Race radio-controlled models, capable of speeds that exceed 100mph. That level of performance demands precise control. Traxxas Link gives you the tools for exacting adjustment and superior control while always keeping you informed on your model’s status and speed.

Traxxas Stability Management
Traxxas Stability Management (TSM) allows you to experience all the extreme power, speed, and acceleration that was engineered into your Traxxas model by making it much easier to control the vehicle on common slippery surfaces such as loose dirt, smooth concrete, and even ice and snow. Punch it off the line and TSM goes to work sensing the vehicle’s direction and making steering corrections to provide straight-ahead full-throttle acceleration without fishtailing, spinouts, and loss of control. TSM also works during cornering, first making intuitive corrections to maintain your line, and then allowing you to hammer the throttle earlier in the turn for much faster exit speeds. Braking is dramatically improved as TSM works to keep your vehicle arrow straight until it comes to a stop.

How does it Work?
Traxxas Stability Management comes standard in many Traxxas vehicles. TQi transmitters updated with the latest firmware allow you to adjust the amount of assistance provided by TSM using the Multi-Function knob. More assistance tightens the control, virtually eliminating fishtailing and sliding. Less assistance allows the vehicle to be more loose for controlled power slides and “steering” with the throttle. TSM never restricts throttle input. The driver always has complete control of the power. TSM can easily be turned off by simply turning the multi-function knob counterclockwise to its stop. TSM can also be adjusted in the Traxxas Link application. The control icon is in the “Garage” in Traxxas Link and also the Drive Effects screen. Each model has a specific software load, custom tuned to the model. Traxxas Link remembers TSM setting when the driver uses the same transmitter and switches between various models equipped with TSM.

Traxxas Link makes it easy to learn, understand, and access the powerful tuning options built into every Traxxas TQi radio system. Control your Drive Effect settings such as steering and throttle sensitivity; steering percentage; braking strength; and throttle trim by simply touching and dragging the sliders on the screen, or enabling the Multi-Function knob on the transmitter. With Traxxas Link, everything happens live, on-the-fly, giving you instant feedback on the changes you are making. Once you have created the perfect control settings for your model, save them as a profile that you can restore later, use on another model, or share with friends. If the track conditions change, simply re-tune your Drive Effects and save them as new profile.

Traxxas Link collects and records real-time telemetry data as you drive. When you equip your model with sensors, the Traxxas Link dashboard comes to life showing you speed, battery voltage, RPM, and temperature. The application automatically detects and recognizes Traxxas Link sensors for easy set up and configuration. The dashboard is fully customizable with either dial or digital readout gauges. Set threshold warnings and log maximums, minimums, or averages. Use the recording function to document your dashboard view, with sound, so that you can keep your eyes on your driving and not miss a single apex. If you forget to record, simply touch Instant Replay anytime to capture the previous minute of fun and unexpected triumphs. The recordings can be named and saved to compare, review, and share with friends.

The Model Configuration settings provide a beautifully simple, visual interface to fine tune servo adjustments such as sub-trims, endpoints, and servo reversing. Choose your servo by touching the channel icon. Model Setups can be customized to adjust for vehicle modifications such as changing the pinion gear or installing different tires. Just select the modifications from the list. Traxxas Link also gives you instant access to Training Mode, and even includes an adjustment to set how fast the model can drive in Training Mode. It’s perfect when you want to quickly and easily share your vehicle with a driver that is not yet ready to experience the full top speed your vehicle is capable of.

Traxxas Link simplifies organization of your vehicle collection. The TQi radio system automatically keeps track of what vehicles it has bound to and what settings were used for each. Traxxas Link provides a visual interface to see the transmitter’s model history, name the models, customize their settings, attach profiles, and lock them into memory. With Traxxas Link and the TQi radio system, there’s never a need to try and remember which model in memory needs to be selected to drive. Simply choose a model and any previously bound transmitter, power them up, and start having fun. Traxxas Link recognizes the model and picks everything up right where you left off. An unlimited number of vehicles can be permanently stored. The factory settings for all Traxxas models are pre programmed so adding a new Traxxas model to your transmitter is a snap. Traxxas models factory equipped with TQi Traxxas Link receivers are detected and configured automatically.

Traxxas Link is also a handy tool for finding the hobby shop or Traxxas retailer closest to you and pinpointing them on a map. Access support tools, vehicle information, updates, built in contextual help and more.

Device Requirements
Traxxas Link is designed for use with Android 4.4 and up or iOS 4.3 and later. For full functionality, Traxxas Link requires a Traxxas TQi transmitter with Traxxas Link Wireless Module and a TQi receiver installed in the model. Telemetry functions require Traxxas telemetry sensors to be installed on your model.
